This is release 1.1 of the ltxfileinfo script

Short description:
ltxfileinfo prints information about a latex class or style file to standard output. 
With the -d option, only the file date, relevant for \RequirePackage, is printed. 
Without options, more information is printed. For article.cls, for example:
   filename : article.cls
       date : 2007/10/19
    version : v1.4h
description : Standard LaTeX document class
   location : /usr/local/texlive/2009/texmf-dist/tex/latex/base/article.cls
